Do you supply engines without fitting?

Yes. You can request a reconditioned Ford Transit engine for fitting by your chosen garage. We confirm the specification, price and delivery arrangements before ordering.

Can you supply and fit an engine?

You can request a supply-and-fit quotation. The fitting scope, availability, labour and any additional components will be confirmed in writing.

How do I know which engine fits my van?

Send your registration, model, year and engine code if known. We may need your VIN or further information to verify compatibility. Registration alone is not always enough.

What does reconditioned mean at Transit Tech?

Our stated specification includes engine block crack testing, cylinder-head pressure testing, cleaning, crankshaft polishing or regrinding where required, new pistons and rings, bearings, oil pump, seals, head gasket and timing components as applicable. Ask us to confirm the specification for the individual engine.

Do you offer nationwide delivery?

Nationwide supply can be arranged subject to availability and confirmed delivery terms. Request a quote with your postcode.

Is VAT included in the website prices?

No. Advertised engine prices exclude VAT. Your quotation will show applicable VAT and other charges.

Do I need to provide my old engine?

Our engines are sold on a part-exchange basis. The listed price assumes a usable exchange engine. If you do not have one, a £250 + VAT surcharge applies (£300 including VAT at 20%). Exchange acceptance is subject to inspection.

What warranty is included?

Reconditioned engines include a six-month unlimited-mileage warranty, subject to written terms. Please review the terms and any installation requirements before ordering.

Should the cause of the old engine failure be checked?

Yes. Cooling, lubrication, fuel and other related faults should be investigated by a qualified technician so that the replacement engine is not exposed to the same problem.
